External Controlled Vocabularies
External CVs are the enumerated lists (or standards) defined by organizations, or referring to content, not within the control of MDDL.org.
All properties of type Enumeration are represented within MDDL by the element mdString and include a special scheme attribute to reference codes from controlled vocabularies.

This index contains the list of schemes that are relevant to MDDL but are in some way controlled by other organizations (such as ISO - the International Standards Organization).
If you are an organization responsible for one of these lists and would like to have the URI for your scheme published here, or should there be an omission from this list or one of the schemes, please Contact Us so we may correct the problem.
For each entry in the table, clicking on the name of the controlled vocabulary will display a readable version of the controlled vocabulary. The URI is the formal name of the scheme to be used in an MDDL instance document. Clicking on the URI will display the XML source of the vocabulary.
